There are no cuttin' corners at Fit and Congress.  This is fitness the old fashioned way.  You burn the energy, you see the results.  Every movement begins with you--at the appropriate level for YOU.  Workin' out is way more fun when every single move you make is scaled to what works and feels good for YOUR body.  We work on improving your mobility, strength, endurance, coordination, balance and overall well-being one dedicated move at a time. 

Workouts here are for any body, as every move is scaled to your level. 

You'll learn how the dietetic decisions you make work for or against you.  Find out why the food guide pyramid isn't helping you lose weight.  Learn how sugar, fat, and vitamins play such a strong role in your health profile.  A good diet isn't hard to master when you have a plan, such as the Power Diet I've developed for my clients.  It's an easy-to-follow diet plan that focuses on fresh and minimally processed foods. 

There are other dietary methods that have proven successful as well.  I stand behind the "Weight Watchers" points system.  "My Fit Foods" and "Mel's Meals" have complimented my workout programs well for clients on-the-go.
